New Year -- New HUMANE Study Trip: University of Heidelberg

Dear member,

With the end of 2008 in sight we are proud to announce the 2009 Study Trips.
The first one will be: Tuesday evening 12 May – Friday 15 May, in Heidelberg.

After the successful Study Trips to Helsinki and Utrecht, we now cooperate with the University of Heidelberg to create a new Study Trip. The University of Heidelberg is high ranked and well-known. Recently the so-called ‘Excellence initiative’ was taken in Germany:  a strong competition amongst German universities for substantial additional research funding. The University of Heidelberg was one of the few winners. Hence we cooperate to organize the following Study Trip:

The position of a top (‘Excellenz’) University

How administration and support services contribute
to obtain and to maintain this position
